The Role

You will act as a point of contact for supporting the business with administrative tasks, handling customer enquiries over the phone, and coordinating deliveries to UK customers. The ideal candidate will be goal-driven and have exceptional customer service skills.

You will also be required to provide cover for other business functions during periods of absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming phone calls, taking messages, dealing with customer enquiries and following up where required (not limited to orders, delivery issues and initial complaints).
  • Greet any visitors to the offices in a professional manner and provide refreshments when appropriate.
  • Proactively assist with the smooth running of the department.
  • Placing Stock orders onto the inhouse system.
  • Provide delivery/collection notes when controlling and booking UK deliveries and collections, liaising with the customer and Production Manager regarding deliveries/collections of orders to site.
  • Updating transport costs in the inhouse system.
  • Commercial Administration including updating customer price lists and distributing to the required personnel.
  • Maintain the office filing/archiving system in both hard and electronic format.
  • Checking invoices and approving them ready for payment.

PRESS BRAKE SETTER OPERATIVES

Amada Press Brake Operators and Setters – Location Kidderminster

Job Description:

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for setting and operating Amada Press Brakes to produce products from drawings.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform Health and safety checks on all guards before each shift
  • Ensure you are using all correct PPE pertaining to the use of the machine and area of work
  • Setting and Operating the machine within the parameters of the user manual
  • Using the FMS tablets to sign on and off work in progress
  • Working closely with the Team Leader on the priority order schedule list
  • Quality inspection checking, of components produced using all calibrated measuring equipment, supplied, highlighting any shortages or non-conformances to your Team Leader
  • Folding and forming various products for the buildings and construction industry using various materials keeping within the drawing tolerances
  • Liaise with the team leader for Moving completed work to the next operation
  • Tool changes to suit material thicknesses and bend radius as per Amada tooling recommendations
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly Maintenance of the machine and general housekeeping of the area
  • Working within the Standard Operating procedures of the machine
  • Directly responsible to the Press Team Leader

Essential Criteria / Desirable:

  • Experience in the use of Press Brakes and able to set up machines
  • Attention to detail and ability to read from CAD drawings
  • Ability to react in a fast-paced environment
  • Use of Computer Numerical Control modules
  • Follow all company Quality Control systems
  • Follow all company Health & Safety policies

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent forward bending, standing, walking, and ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to meet the criteria for the pulmonary function test
  • Able to perform a repetitive task in current work environment/conditions

As a TIG Welding Fabricator working as part of the Trueline Products team, you will be responsible for joining metal using a variety of techniques to form new structures. Duties will include welding materials according to technical plans and finishing.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare required shaped and weld according to plans
  • Effectively operate TIG welder and equipment to fabricate items to customer requirements
  • Use grinder and buffer to smooth and clean as appripopriately proir to and after welding
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and tools
  • Maintain a clean working area
  • Organise all supplies (materials, tools and equipments) required, liaising with appropriate parties
  • Follow Health & Safety Policy and Procedures

Essential Criteria

  • Experience in TIG Welding
  • Attention to detail
  • Carrying out tasks within timeframe
  • Maintain records

Physical Requirments

Night shift hours are 16:30 – 02:00 Monday to Thursday eve / Friday morning

The Role

As a CAD/CAM Technician, you will play a crucial role in transforming customer designs into manufacturing drawings for the construction industry. You will also prepare CNC punch and laser programs to ensure efficient production with minimal waste. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your expertise will help maintain the high standards of quality and precision that our customers expect from us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and interpret 3D models using SolidWorks, SigmaNest, and (preferably) DR ABE (Amada Nesting Software).
  • Collaborate with Surveyors, Estimators, and Production teams to meet tight deadlines while consistently producing quality documentation.
  • Program CNC machine tools, particularly Laser Cutters or Punching Machines, ensuring production priorities are balanced.
  • Interpret customer designs to create technical drawings and programs for component manufacture.
  • Assist in the manufacturing process on the production floor, providing expertise in folding, punching, and problem-solving as needed.
  • Adapt to various working environments, including programming offices, customer meetings, management, and the shop floor.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of sheet metal manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in setting and operating fabrication machinery, including Laser Cutting machines, Punch Machines, and Press Brakes.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and SigmaNest.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and solve problems independently and within a team.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively with all departments across the organisation.
  • Commitment to following Health & Safety Policies & Procedures.
